Qigong Improvers Course

The improvers’ course will introduce you to three more Qigong forms. The three forms learnt during the beginners course will be reviewed throughout the course.

The forms introduced during this course will be “Eight Pieces of Brocade”, so named because it is an important form of Qigong and brocade was the most prized and treasured material in China at that time, just as good health is highly prized today.

The second form is “Wai Dan Open Palm Sequence”, this form extends energy to the palms and finger tips.

The third form is “Wai Dan Still Form”. The exercises in this form are very similar to Indian Yoga. As you might suspect this is more about holding various positions and corresponds more to the definition of exercise as we understand it today.

All of the forms should be performed in a relaxed manner and only tensing the muscles needed to achieve the required position.
